We caught up with Kyle to learn more about his services and get his take on the best nearby spots for drinks, views and rooftop movie screenings.
What’s your name and title at The Addison?
My name is Kyle Clewis. I’m The Resident Services Coordinator for The Melrose Collection.
What makes living at The Addison so special?
There are so many elements that come to mind! First off, our location is incredible. We’re steps from Melrose Place, and we’re a boutique community immersed in a beautiful neighborhood setting. Plus, every home has amazing indoor-outdoor space and views of the Hollywood Hills. Also, because The Addison features just 28 townhomes, it allows my team to provide full and top-notch services to our homeowners and their guests.
What’s your availability for residents at The Addison?
Currently I am available and owners have direct access to me Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Tell us about the on-site services you provide to residents.
We offer a wide range of services—from package and guest management to recommendations for personal and professional services. We also arrange private transportation, restaurant reservations and can coordinate special private events for residents in The Addison’s Community Lounge. And of course, we provide waste bags and dog treats for our community pets.
Beyond treats, do you offer any other special services for residents with pets?
As a pet owner and pet lover, I always make sure that all pets are treated with as much respect and care as the homeowner. This means ample compliments and belly rubs on-demand.
In your opinion, what makes The Addison’s concierge services stand out amongst other residential concierge programs?
Exceptionally personalized service. Having only 28 townhomes in our community allows us to get to know our residents on a professional and personal level. We can also offer more focused care as well as exclusive services to our homeowners. Our team seizes every opportunity to make day-to-day life for residents a little brighter—and a lot more convenient.
What do you most enjoy about being a concierge?
I enjoy creating trusting and professional relationships with people. I look forward to being able to assist them with day to day projects and giving them a sense of reliable and trusted service in their home environment.
You know all the best spots for everything—what are some of your neighborhood favorites?
A few come to mind right away—all of which are just minutes from The Addison.
Of course, Melrose Place is moments from The Addison and home to so many hip, interesting boutiques and cafes—I’m all for a quick pick-me-up from Alfred Coffee & Tea or a nice juice or shake from Moon Juice.
The Farmers Market happens just steps from The Addison, right on Melrose Place, every Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. There is always an abundance of super fresh, locally sourced produce plus artisan baked breads and unique home decor vendors. Grabbing up a coffee at Alfred and cruising the market is a perfect way to start a Sunday.
The Melrose RoofTop Theater at EP/LP has a wonderful drink and snack selection while offering comfortable seating and stunning views of the Hollywood Hills. They have a wide range of movie screenings seven nights a week from recent box office hits to classic Hollywood Cinema.
The Abbey West Hollywood serves great food and cocktails (especially for Sunday Funday Brunch). They also offer a fantastic range of entertainment and music.
The Beverly Center—it’s Rodeo Drive with a roof. A plethora of top designers and department stores all within a single, newly renovated building.
